Requirements

Your submission must include the following:

The WOW Factor: The effectiveness of the design solution to communicate and integrate. Does it leave an impression, ignite curb appeal and does it catch the eye. Technologies three (3) market segments.

Content:  Does it meet design/new construction of the brief requirements? The modularity of the properties to be used in smaller spaces

Extras:  What did you discover or provide to set your design apart? The ability for the design solution to provide an effective cost of ownership proposition.

Communication: Presentation of the above, quality of boards and ability to convey information.

Boards:  Four boards sized at 18’’w x 24’’H each for presentation on or before deadline. Each labeled with name of submitter.

Essay: 500 words or fewer essay on design rationale or proposal to define criteria. Need to explain how you approached, communicated and solved criteria issues. Attach this to the back of one of boards.

Digital Imagery:  Jpg. format imagery of boards sent to wmcgar@edpa.com on or before the deadline.

Shipping Confirmation: Email shipping confirmation of entry to wmcgar@edpa.com on or before the deadline.

Booth Design Requirements:

Overall Look:  Upscale, warm and inviting, yet give the impression we are the wireless technology leader and innovator. Incorporate the essence of the newly branded videophone and at the same time provide an integrated look. 

Overall Fabrication: Light weight, modular, easy to install, cost effective to ship and store.

Product Display: Three display areas.

Brand Hierarchy/Identification: Primary emphasis placed on The Pilot brand and other assorted products are secondary.

Interactive Touch-screen Stations (3):One station per product area.

Conference Area: Two totally private rooms able to seat six (6 comfortably. Include a credenza and a small refrigerator.

Literature: Literature is given away at show. The brands currently have their own literature at their individual areas. Assume each brand may have several different pieces. Literature should be out in the open and available for attendees to take as needed.

Storage: Locking storage closet required for briefcases, coats, premiums and literature.

Lead Counters: Four small counters with storage.

Reception Counter: Not necessary

Multimedia area:  Creative use of lighting and A/V to promote each brand. Include an A/V storage closet for equipment and technician.

Physical Requirements: Lightweight, modular, easy to transport and maintain. Use materials that embody the essence of the products and create dynamic tension.
Theater: Use of plasma screens and a good sound system. Seating for 15 and room for standing spectators.
